Happy 4th!

To all you present and former U. S. Citizens - happy Fourth of July. For those of you living in other parts of the world, today is the day we Americans celebrate the signing of the Declaration of Independence. We do so mostly by barbecuing and watching fireworks. This, apparently, is our idea of freedom. It's not really, of course, but how do you really celebrate something you are and always have been, regardless of British Kings or signed documents? It's like celebrating breathing, or thinking, sleeping.

I guess I don't know. For myself, I'm going to take the day off of blog writing. What will you do? Seeing as you're free, it is, and always will be, your question to answer.
