Colleen J. McElroy

Colleen J. McElroy is the author of nine books poems, including her most recent, Here I Throw Down My Heart. She is also the author of two collections of short fiction, and nine works of nonfiction. She was the Editor-in-Chief of The Seattle Review from 1995 to 2007, and was the first black woman promoted to full professorship at the University of Washington.
